A little "HERO"

I'm delighted to have just been allocated "Hero" as part of the "Sloth bear Sponsorship Program". "Hero" is an Indian Sloth Bear and was only 7-8 weeks old when he was confiscated from animal traders by Indian authorities in February 2004. He received intensive care from the vets and keepers at the Agra Bear Rescue Facility and is now a happy and healthy young bear. Hero loves to investigate his enclosure, and play with his best friend Mowgli. He also enjoys taking occasional dips in the pool. My dream would be to meet him someday and give him a BIG bear hug!! Isn't he just a handsome bear!! :D

saving money is always good!

jennylovesbenny bears have been listed on a website call Bearpile for almost a year now.
Bearpile was created by a lovely guy in the US, Dave Stack. Recently he started a new web site for helping people to find money saving coupons online. Please give it a look at www.CouponSaver.org

bear trade?

A few weeks ago, I received a lovely email from a very talented lady from the US name...wait for it..."Jennie Lee"!! LOL
At first glance at my mailbox I thought.."silly me...did I send an email to myself!?" hehe...
Anyway Jennie traded a complete bear kit with me and in return, she knitted Biscotti these lovely overalls. They were designed to be baggy and are very big for him, isn't he just adorable in them?? and the colour is just magic on him!! :D

In addition, Jennie knitted me a cute rabbit wearing a sweet little top plus some beautiful soft yarn which she had handspun herself.

Jennie knit and crochet, she makes hats, scarves, little sweaters, booties and spin her own wool. You can see some of Jennie's lovely work at: http://flickr.com/photos/bitsiebrand/

Studio updates!

Here's a little message for those especially who missed out on Emi and Aiko...
Little "Chiaki" would like to say 'hi'!

So what's been happening in the jennylovesbenny home studio??
5 little Japanese animes bears are on their way. All with their individual colourful head gears!! As a little treat, a sneak preview of "Chiaki" (one of the five). When will they be listed? Pending on how sore my fingers get (and they are starting to get sore), I'm hoping to list them by the end of the week...to be the first to know, I invite you to join my mailing list.
