Season Greeting postcards are on their way to the JLB studio...
I'm thinking, these postcards would make great Chrissy cards to send out this Christmas instead of traditional greeting cards but I do love collecting postcards and am guilty of sending them to myself...and the look I get from my friendly postman!LOL

I will be listing these postcards along with my new designs as soon as they arrive. They are limited, pre-orders welcome!!

Rainy days are my favourite time for tea!

I do LOVE rainy days, specially when it pours down with rain creating a cascade of water running down my windows...and of course I'm nice and cosy indoors! :D
It's my favourite time to have that cup of favourite time to read a book and a favourite time to snuggle up in my favourite blanket with Walter next to me. I find the sound of rain quite comforting and today was one of those days..well, it lasted 10 minutes but it was still a delight to me. Today is also the day Rayne was born and you can probably guess how her name came about! :D
She's a sweet girly bear made from beautiful and what I call 'pink champagne' pile mohair. Soft and gentle and very comforting, especially on rainy days, getting snuggled up with you in your favourite blanket! :D
Rayne is now available for adoption from my website.

Many of you have emailed to ask for my permission to use my photos on your desktop and I must say I'm so delighted that you do and of course, thank you for asking! :D
This gave me an idea to create a monthly JLB wallpaper/calender so that you don't have to make do with low resolution photos on your screen.
I've just finished my first JLB wallpaper, just in time for November!!! Here is the link for you to download:

OMG! I've been so busy this month with not sure what that I almost forgot jennylovesbenny turns 5 this month!! :-o
I can't believe it's been 5 years since I ventured into this path of bears and it all began when I received my first 'hand-made' bear from my dear friend Brigitte...that was the first time I heard about artist bears...and one weekend, looking for something to do, hubby heard on the radio about the Kensington Teddy fair and off we went...My artist bear world was born the minute I stepped foot into Kensington town hall...I started by creating and make my own bears, initially for friends and when I returned home to Australia I quit my job and became a full time bear artist and with a blink of an eye, Jennylovesbenny is now 5y.o!! :D
It's been a wonderful journey so far and it has certainly kept me very busy and more importantly, very happy! :D

Thank you all for your continuing support, I wouldn't be here without you. I hope to continue to bring you smiles for years to come yet :D

What's an Egg Cosy without an egg!?? One very sad me! :(
Just as I was preparing to take photos for my new listing I "eggscitedly" went to get an egg when hubby says..."we have no eggs". Stopped short in my tracks I shot him the "what" look...he continues to say calmly.."used it all last night" then formed a little uncertain smile. I cannot remember the last time I was sooooooooo disappointed with no eggs in the house :(
Little Pink will have to wait till I go shopping tonight for more eggs so that I can tell her little story...stay tuned! :D
