*:: here comes August ::*
It's almost end of the month AGAIN and I've been extremely busy with Daniel...poor baby has eczema and I totally blame it on the cold and extremely dry weather. After many visits to the GP, pediatrician and eczema specialists, we're finally getting it under control. Hopefully he'll have some good and peaceful rests from now on (and me too!). Here is a photo of Daniel enjoying a honeysuckle flower bath...he does love his baths! :D As I've not had much time to create this month I've not been taking many photos but I am loving this photo of Dara Chickadee which I'd took last month so has chosen her as my August pin up gal! lol
Dara's August wallpaper is now ready for download, just click here.
Just a reminder July's special is ending this week, see July's special here.
Keep warm and have a great week ahead! :D
Dara is so cute. On the subject of excema. Do you have `Lush` over there? When my son was a wee baba, we used all kinds of things the doc prescribed and none really worked. We then tried Lush, `Dream Cream`. This is all natural stuff like oatmilk lavender olive oil and tea tree. It really kept it at bay where the pharmaceuticals did not. Here is a linky (no I dont work for them)http://www.lush.co.uk/shop/product/product&product_id=288. I still have a pot in the house always as its a natural miracle worker. Joy x
ReplyDeleteGet well soon, baby Daniel!!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you Lin!
ReplyDeleteThank you Joy, will definitely give this a try, I've tried almost everything on the market and my bathroom is filled with so many creams which we've bought but Daniel is sensitive too. Hubby and I will have lots of creams to use for years to come!! lol
Hi Jenny, Daniel is just GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteI saw a clip on TV this week about goats milk soap being a very effective treatment for eczema: http://aca.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=1066277
Hope it can be of some use!

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI am your newest follower. I just found your blog link through your prior newest follower, Nobby Raggedies. I think your site is wonderful and your creations are darling. How much fun to look at them all. I've made dolls, but no bears yet, except for fabric bears. I might try one someday, or else just order one from you already made, that way I know it will turn out beautifully! Please come visit me at my new blog, Ric Rac and Polka Dots. I'm brand new, but have lots of fun things planned to share with everyone. I hope to see you there!
Julie
Hi Renae, Thank you for your comment and suggestion. We've been seeing an eczema specialist and we're not to use any kind of soap at all. Now we have to bath him in salt water and bath oils only. This seems to have helped a lot. Thank you again!
